TruePoint Laser Scanning was tasked with performing a detailed plumb analysis of the major structural walls of an abandoned Italian Embassy. The objective was to assess the vertical alignment of the walls and identify any deviations from plumb greater than ±1 inch. This information was crucial for the client's structural engineers to prioritize repairs and ensure the building's safety. Given the building's complex layout and the need to cover both exterior and interior walls, traditional measurement methods were impractical.
