TruePoint was tasked with capturing the edge of slabs of a multi-story hospital structure under construction to verify that they were built to specifications and identify any discrepancies before fabricating the building envelope system. The project required extremely high tolerances due to the complexity of the slabs and the building envelope system's precise requirements. TruePoint employed 3D laser scanning technology to capture millions of measurements per second, creating a detailed point cloud of the exterior shell surface.
