The National Natural Resources Second Topographic Survey Team employed OceanAlpha to conduct precise topographic surveys in the sediment-laden Yellow River, China. Facing the challenges of complex underwater terrain and technical limitations, they embraced geospatial technologies to reform the river management system. Employing an Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV), equipped with a multibeam echo sounder system, the team conducted precise topographic surveys in the Qiankun Bay section. This approach not only overcame traditional constraints but also ensured the safety of personnel by utilizing remote control capabilities.
