TruePoint was tasked with laser scanning and 3D modeling the façade of a building addition under construction at an airport. Subsequently, the client requested a second mobilization to scan and model the building’s awning. The façade, spanning 17,000 square feet, required meticulous scanning to ensure accurate measurements for custom architectural panels. The awning, with its unique geometry and intricate details, presented additional challenges for measurement accuracy.
