In response to the aftermath of Storm Babet's flooding across the Midlands, Storm Geomatics partnered with ARUP and the Environment Agency to conduct a comprehensive survey of flood-affected areas. Utilizing advanced surveying technologies such as Trimble S5 Total Stations and GIS, surveyors meticulously documented wrack marks – vital indicators of peak flood levels. Overcoming logistical challenges and time constraints, the project successfully integrated data from multiple sources to provide accurate flood-level assessments, contributing to enhanced resilience and informed regional flood management strategies.
