    Project Details

The project, initiated by Global Textile Group, involves precision agriculture through satellite monitoring to optimize cotton production across 12,341 hectares in Uzbekistan’s Fergana region. Partnering with EOS Data Analytics and local farmers, the project aims to increase cotton yield, improve field monitoring efficiency, and achieve sustainable cotton cultivation by adhering to Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) standards. Using EOSDA Crop Monitoring, Global Textile can now obtain real-time, detailed crop data, including growth progress, soil nutrient levels, and potential issues like pest infestations. These insights enable rapid, targeted interventions, which have led to a 75-80% increase in cotton yield within three years and allowed Global Textile to establish three new factories.
