TruePoint was engaged to provide 3D laser scanning services for a crucial project involving the installation of new ductile piping at Launch Pad B. The project required detailed as-built documentation of the mechanical room below the pad surface, extending to the pad's top where the piping terminates. Additionally, overhead piping routing through the mechanical room and the removal and installation of new equipment were part of the project scope. The accurate documentation provided by TruePoint's laser scanning would enable the client to plan piping routes efficiently, identify clash points, and ensure precise vertical penetration points, thereby minimizing rework and fabrication errors.
