    Project Details

The project, initiated by Global Textile Group, leverages precision agriculture through satellite monitoring to optimize cotton production across 12,341 hectares in Uzbekistan’s Fergana region. In collaboration with EOS Data Analytics and local farmers, the initiative aims to enhance cotton yields, improve field monitoring efficiency, and promote sustainable cultivation practices in alignment with the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) standards.

By utilizing EOSDA Crop Monitoring, Global Textile now has access to real-time, detailed crop data, including growth progress, soil nutrient levels, and potential threats such as pest infestations. These insights enable timely and targeted interventions, resulting in a 75–80% increase in cotton yield over a three-year period and supporting the establishment of three new factories by Global Textile.
