A groundbreaking agreement has been reached between the BEV and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Regions, and Tourism in Austria. This agreement introduces real-time kinematic (RTK) correction signals for precision farming in the agricultural sector. To achieve this, the BEV has introduced a multi GNSS positioning service called APOS, utilizing GPS, GLONASS, and GALILEO to provide centimetre-level accuracy in 3D coordinates. This advancement enables lane accuracy of about 2cm, greatly enhancing agricultural efficiency and sustainability.
