TruePoint was commissioned to provide 3D laser scanning services for a process tower and an extruder room within a manufacturing facility near Nashville, Tennessee. The project encompassed 3D laser scanning of the extruder room and all 11 levels of the process tower, capturing detailed structural layouts, equipment footprints, dimensions of connection points, and piping tie-ins connecting various equipment. The collected point cloud data was utilized to develop a comprehensive 3D model for the client.
