TruePoint Laser Scanning undertook a unique project involving the detailed scanning of a rare locomotive near Lexington, Kentucky. The project was commissioned by a high-end manufacturer of model trains, who sought to create an HO scale replica of the locomotive. With only twenty of these locomotives left in existence, capturing its precise dimensions was critical for producing a museum-quality model.
