    Project Details

    TruePoint was commissioned to provide 3D laser scanning services for an ongoing construction project of an eight-story apartment complex in Houston, Texas. Over an 8-month period, each floor was to undergo five to six concrete pours, requiring precise verification of pre-slab conditions to avoid costly errors. TruePoint’s task was to laser scan the conduit, post-tensioning cables, rebar, and sleeves for each segment before the concrete was poured. This allowed the client to inspect and confirm that all components were accurately positioned. TruePoint's Houston office mobilized scan technicians to the site 1-2 times weekly. The data was processed and aligned with the client’s existing building plans within 24-48 hours, ensuring that any discrepancies could be addressed promptly, thus maintaining the construction schedule.
