    Benchmark Survey & Design, based in North Queensland, Australia, was tasked by the Porgera Mine Survey Team to map spill grounds around the Porgera Mine, situated in the rugged Porgera Valley of Papua New Guinea. The project aimed to collect accurate data for environmental monitoring of the dump sites generated by the mine, emphasizing the importance of precision in challenging terrain prone to landslides and earthquakes.
