    Project Details

    PennDOT identified degradation issues along the outermost striping of Interstate 81 and needed precise data regarding the boundary of the concrete base layer between the right wheel path and the shoulder of the road. In order to evaluate the scope of these deficiencies, PennDOT collaborated with Fugro to meticulously determine the concrete base layer's edge and identify areas of weakness. Fugro employed ground-penetrating radar (GPR) technology for this comprehensive investigation.
