A plastics, coatings, and adhesives manufacturer needed to retrofit five 30' x 30' areas within their plant by installing new piping, valves, and flanges. To facilitate this modification, TruePoint was tasked with 3D laser scanning the structural steel, equipment, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) piping in the designated areas and creating a 3D model. This model was crucial for planning the new piping routes, ensuring precision, and avoiding any clashes during installation.
