    Project Details

The Quebec government's ambitious project, Réseau Electrique Métropolitain (REM), aims to transform public transportation in greater Montreal with a 67-kilometer light rail system. As part of this initiative, REM will link to the University of Montreal via an existing subway tunnel, requiring meticulous excavation through solid rock. Geophysics GPR plays a crucial role, providing vibration monitoring during blasting to ensure the safety of century-old infrastructure and minimize disruptions to residents and university operations.
