The Restore-IT initiative, a collaborative project involving Justdiggit, Planet, the European Space Agency (ESA), the University of Leicester, and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, utilizes planetary variables to enhance our understanding and decision-making in food and water systems. The program works in partnership with farming communities to implement proven regreening techniques, with a significant focus on Africa. One of its major initiatives involves the creation of semi-circular bunds to capture rainwater.
