Commissioned by Innova, a green energy company, the project aimed to map vegetated areas and ditches in the Gleaston region for environmental assessment and energy solutions. Challenges included complex terrain and weather conditions. Solutions involved using RPA LiDAR for large expanses and traditional methods in vegetated areas, complemented by aerial imagery. The synergy of these approaches produced accurate topographic datasets crucial for Innova's initiatives. The project showcased the efficacy of combining technology and tradition to overcome obstacles and deliver comprehensive results for sustainable development projects.
