    Project Details

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has awarded Hawkeye AS the contract for the E39 Highways Reconstruction project. This endeavor aims to transform the current two-lane highway into a modern four-lane road with an 11-kilometer tunnel, expected to be completed by 2035. The project, initiated in alignment with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe's 2008 agreement on international traffic arteries, seeks to upgrade the E39 to meet stringent standards, including increasing average speeds, widening lanes, and eliminating ferry crossings.
