Leveraging Autonomous USVs for Accurate Hydrographic Surveys in Jiangmen, China

Jiangmen, Guangdong, China, utilized USVs such as the SL40 Autonomous Flow Measurement USV and the SL20 Hydrographic Survey USV, along with Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) equipment, the project aimed to measure flow velocity and discharge variation in the river sections. The USVs, equipped with high-precision navigation systems and obstacle avoidance technology, autonomously navigated the dynamic river environment, ensuring accurate data collection.
