    Project Details

The A1 Barton to Leeming Upgrade project aims to transform the existing A1 dual carriageway into a 3+3-lane motorway, while also providing local access roads to enhance safety and accessibility for the local community. Tri-tech Site Engineering and Land Surveys, in collaboration with the Morgan-Sindall Carillion Joint Venture (MSCJV) project team, utilized 3D Laser Scanning Technology to survey existing bridges along the route. The data collected facilitated accurate structural designs for both the preservation and modification of existing bridges to accommodate the new motorway.
