A restaurant under new ownership planned a renovation of an existing building, including a dining room, indoor and outdoor bars, and a covered patio. TruePoint was tasked with providing 3D laser scanning and a 3D Revit model to facilitate the renovation. The scan encompassed the restaurant's exterior (including grade, patios, porches, entryway, curbs, parking spaces, and playground area) and interior (including walls, windows, doors, structural beams, joists, columns, stairs, restrooms, piping, and mechanical equipment). The client required intensity map point cloud files and an LOD 200 Revit model to begin their project.
