    Project Details

In preparation for the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend, the GPRS Team (formerly TruePoint) executed a comprehensive 3D laser scanning project at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio. Spanning an impressive 152,970 square feet and accommodating 19,432 seats across three levels, the venue includes 2,000 club seats and 88 luxury suites. The objective was to support a mixed reality project initiated by the client, ‘The Famous Group’, which integrated Vixi Live, an advanced video selfie cam, into the event. Leveraging the data collected, the GPRS Team generated a detailed LOD 200 Revit model, subsequently exporting an FBX file for use in animation software, ensuring seamless integration of the technology into the All-Star Weekend festivities.
