TruePoint Project Manager Cole Dickson undertook the task of 3D laser scanning inside a cave in Wisconsin for an upcoming renovation project. The cave's wooden stairwells and walkways, deteriorated due to decades of exposure to high humidity, were to be replaced with aluminum or steel structures for improved safety and durability. Dickson's objective was to provide accurate measurements and spatial awareness of the cave's interior layout to facilitate the renovation process.
