The Sultanate of Oman commissioned Khatib & Alami to create a comprehensive digital twin of Muscat, spanning 250 square kilometers, to enhance national security and disaster preparedness. Khatib & Alami was assigned the responsibility of capturing 330,000 images within a 14-day timeframe to build a 3D reality model of the area. With a tight deadline of 125 days and only 14 days for UAV flights due to airspace constraints, Khatib & Alami faced challenges in capturing high-resolution imagery and geo-tagging images for accuracy.
