    Project Details

    In February 2020, Johnson & Johnson's Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies accelerated its coronavirus vaccine program in partnership with BARDA, committing over $1 billion. Janssen utilized location data and real-time pandemic data to enhance vaccine research and development. The project focused on rigorously identifying global areas susceptible to COVID-19 spikes, locating vaccine trial participants, and ensuring employee safety at Janssen. It utilized GIS and received hourly updates on Location Intelligence data.
