    Project Details

For over a century, the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) has fostered close collaborations with federal, tribal, state, and local partners to adeptly manage wildland fires across national forests and grasslands. In order to bolster both tactical and strategic decision-making processes, the USFS harnesses advanced fire imaging technologies, including Full Motion Video (FMV), thereby providing crucial situational awareness to fire line personnel, incident management teams, fire managers, and agency administrators. In furtherance of this endeavor, NV5 Geospatial has partnered with the USFS to provide support in combating active fires through the utilization of FMV.
