The project was a comprehensive endeavor aimed at enhancing forest resource surveying by integrating UAV LiDAR and mobile SLAM systems. Its goal was to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data collection, especially in complex forest environments. By merging data from both platforms, the project aimed to acquire detailed tree information with greater precision, including species, position, height, and diameter. Through careful planning and advanced data processing techniques, the project transformed forest resource management by furnishing stakeholders with reliable and detailed information, thereby facilitating improved decision-making and monitoring capabilities.
