In a major transformation project, a 1980s office building was being converted into a luxury hotel. The client required precise documentation of the building's substructure and surrounding structural elements to accurately place new mechanical systems without causing damage to existing tension cables and rebar. Traditional methods of locating these elements and translating physical markings to digital formats were deemed insufficient due to their potential for inaccuracies and inefficiencies.
