In 2016, after Energex and Ergon merged, their separate database systems (Smallworld, NFM, and DMT) needed to be merged into a single system that would provide a comprehensive record of Queensland's electrical infrastructure. To accomplish this, a data migration process was required to maintain the accuracy and completeness of the data. In 2022, Enzen hired ASA to merge these legacy datasets and establish a Unified Geographic Information System (UGIS) for EQL.
