    Project Details

MGISS, a Liverpool-based geospatial technology business, provided remote measurement equipment to LSTC (Line Survey and Transmission Consultancy), a company offering technical services to the Power and Rail industries in the UK and Ireland. This equipment has effectively doubled the daily outputs of the team compared to traditional methods. LSTC was commissioned by a major Electricity DNO (Distribution Network Operator) to measure distribution overhead line conductor clearances on 1800 sites adjacent to domestic and commercial buildings. Traditionally, a two-man survey team would use a total station for accurate measurements.
