Illinois is working on improving Internet access for its residents through the High-Speed Internet Services and Information Technology Act. This Act requires a nonprofit organization to develop a high-speed Internet deployment plan and demand creation strategy for the whole state. Partnership for a Connected Illinois, Inc. (PCI) is the nonprofit chosen to handle this task. PCI decided to use TerraGo software for its daily operations because of its flexibility, user-friendly interface, and compatibility with PDF files.
