    Project Details

TruePoint was tasked with 3D laser scanning the exterior façade of a 28,000 sq ft historic university residence hall. The client required an intensity map point cloud, 2D drawings, and an LOD 200 Revit 3D model to aid in the restoration and upgrade of the three-story building. The restoration involved extensive brick and masonry work, window and stone surround replacements, parapet rebuilding, limestone repairs, woodwork preservation, and the installation of custom replica lighting fixtures. The precise as-built data captured by TruePoint was essential for the architecture and construction teams to preserve the building's historical integrity while integrating modern updates.
