TruePoint was tasked with the laser scanning of 100 Natural Gas Separator Units and Metering Skids to capture precise flange information, including bolt hole orientation, elevation details, and the pitch of flanges. These skids were staged in a temporary area, and detailed measurement was critical for the client’s prefabrication efforts, aiming to reduce the time and effort needed for adjustments during the final installation. The client needed to ensure that all connections between the skids would fit perfectly, despite the skids not being on their final level ground or coordinates.
