TruePoint Laser Scanning was engaged to perform a detailed 3D laser scan of an eight-story bank and office building to facilitate the fabrication and installation of aluminum composite panels on its facade. The project demanded a high level of accuracy, with measurements required to be within a ¼ inch to ensure a precise fit for the panels. The laser scanning needed to be conducted efficiently to avoid any disruption to the bank's operations and the building’s tenants.
