    Project Details

TruePoint was contracted to perform high-definition laser scanning of a historic church's front façade, which included a large, intricately designed stained-glass window. The window, positioned 15 feet off the ground and extending another 30 feet upwards, had its wooden frame damaged and rotted after a severe windstorm. This posed a significant risk as the unstable structure was in danger of collapsing. The client needed exact measurements to design a new aluminum frame for the window, which could not be accurately obtained through traditional measuring methods due to the height, instability, and intricate detailing of the façade.
