The mission of the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) is to guarantee that every Californian has fair access to healthcare. Reaching this objective will need a sustained effort to gather and evaluate the information required to assess the state of healthcare access in California both now and in the future.

VESTRA provided assistance to OSHPD in the creation and improvement of the Healthcare Atlas. Using information from hospitals and other healthcare facilities, such as facility locations, financial and utilization reports, and patient level summaries, the Healthcare Atlas is an interactive mapping application.
