    Project Details

The project aimed to leverage cutting-edge 3D scanning technology to map the entrance section of the Tana della Mussina cave system in northern Italy. Under the leadership of Tommaso Santagata from the virtual Geographic agency Vigea, the endeavor was carried out in partnership with the GSPGC caving group and the FSRER caving association. Noted for its archaeological importance, the cave presented obstacles such as narrow passages, high water levels, and low temperatures.
