    Project Details

Facing threats such as rising temperatures and saltwater intrusion, Grenada combats climate change by developing the world's first national digital twin. Grenada utilized advanced geospatial technologies like GIS, aerial surveys, and artificial intelligence. By constructing a detailed 3D model of the island nation, through extensive data collection and analysis, the digital twin provides a comprehensive 3D model of the country, enabling officials to gain insights into vulnerabilities such as rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and environmental degradation and address these climate vulnerabilities effectively. This innovative approach enhances decision-making for sustainable development and serves as a model for leveraging technology in climate resilience efforts worldwide.
