Airbus, a prominent leader in European space business and Earth observation services, sought to enhance its OneAtlas Basemap service to provide users with a more seamless and visually appealing global imagery experience. The challenge lay in integrating a high-quality medium-resolution global imagery mosaic into the existing platform. Collaborating with PlanetObserver, Airbus successfully addressed this challenge by integrating PlanetSAT Global, an off-the-shelf imagery solution, into their service. This integration not only improved the user experience but also provided annual updates, ensuring access to the most up-to-date and accurate information for decision-making.
