One prominent aspect of these GIS services is the online citizen service for property taxes, which is effectively utilized by the Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (MC). Among the 4.34 lakh properties meticulously mapped within the boundaries of Ludhiana MC, approximately 2.5 lakh, comprising nearly 58 percent of the total count, fall under the taxable category.
