Storm Geomatics undertook a project along the River Aire, leveraging geospatial technologies for topographic and bathymetric surveying. Utilizing an OceanAlpha SL40 Unmanned Survey Vessel (USV) equipped with Geoswath4 Interferometric Sonar and SBG Ekinox IMU, they navigated challenging river conditions efficiently and safely. By integrating traditional survey methods with modern tools like the Trimble SX10 laser scanner and GIS, Storm Geomatics created a comprehensive 3D model and conducted hydraulic analysis using Flood Modeller Pro.
