    Project Details

    The project implemented innovative solutions to mitigate surge risks and enhance operational resilience to address the critical need for safeguarding Dubai's water transmission infrastructure. The project led by Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) and Stantec it aimed to enhance the resilience of Dubai's water infrastructure. Through geospatial analysis, hydraulic modeling, and real-time monitoring, the project identified surge risk areas and strategically installed surge protection devices across the water network. This proactive approach mitigated the threat of surge-induced failures, ensuring continuous water supply to the city. By leveraging advanced technologies and proactive planning, the project exemplifies a successful strategy in fortifying critical infrastructure against potential disruptions.
