    Project Details

An essential component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative is the Al-Wajeed Water Master Plan, a substantial undertaking. Located in the Empty Quarter, the world's largest continuous sand mass, this crucial project safeguards the welfare of over 500,000 residents in the Tathleeth and Bisha governorates. These regions faced severe water shortages that jeopardized both public health and local economies. This project underscores the importance of adopting innovative strategies for widespread access to clean water, drawing valuable lessons from past experiences, and designing resilient projects to meet future water goals.
