Arup, in partnership with the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI) and three prominent energy utility entities, has undertaken an initiative aimed at evaluating and fortifying the curbside Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure within Southern California. This endeavor is designed to catalyze the pervasive embrace of EV technology, ameliorate air quality, and advance impartial accessibility to eco-conscious transportation alternatives. By doing so, the initiative significantly contributes to California's overarching decarbonization objectives while addressing the imperative requirement to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions stemming from transportation activities.
