CNOOC Deep Ocean Development uses Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) equipped with advanced geospatial technologies for the inspection of a submarine oil pipeline situated in shallow waters off the coast of Hengqing, Zhuhai. Facing restrictions on manned operations and concerns over pipeline integrity, our solution leverages USVs fitted with Multibeam Echo Sounders to conduct precise underwater mapping. Through meticulous data collection and analysis, the client exposed sections of the pipeline, addressing potential risks posed by seawater erosion.
