    Project Details

Ystalyfera, a town in South Wales with around 3,000 residents, has faced landslide risks for over a century due to its geology and industrial past. Flythru, in collaboration with Geoterra and commissioned by Earth Science Partnership and Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council in 2017, aimed to develop 3D DTMs for monitoring landslide movements. Using LiDAR surveys, they tracked and monitored land movements in the village.
