    Project Details

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is working towards developing a world-class transport network by 2026. To achieve this, they are leveraging a suite of geospatial data products and technical expertise available through the Public Sector Geospatial Agreement (PSGA). Historically, TfWM relied heavily on costly and time-consuming physical site visits to gather critical data for infrastructure projects. However, they faced limitations in remote analysis due to insufficient methodologies for generating detailed, accurate geographic insights. Collaborating with a technical specialist from Ordnance Survey (OS), TfWM developed innovative methodologies underpinned by high-resolution geospatial data, enabling them to access granular details about the transport network.
