    Project Details

The construction of High Speed 2 (HS2), a high-speed rail route connecting Manchester with London, is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe currently. Most rail projects involve a significant amount of earthwork movement. In line with COP26, HS2 has pledged to reduce carbon emissions by at least 50% during its construction and operation. The project team realized an opportunity to maximize the mass-haul technique and lower emissions during construction with improved comprehension and visualization.
