    Project Details

The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GEOSA) has commissioned Fugro to undertake a comprehensive survey of Saudi Arabia’s eastern coastline, covering an expansive area of over 11,000 km². Fugro employed its High-Speed Hydrography Solution, which integrates airborne lidar bathymetry (ALB) and vessel-based acoustic methods, to acquire Geo-data in accordance with International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO) standards. The project engaged a team of international hydrographic experts, including seasoned personnel with prior experience from previous GEOSA contracts. In collaboration with IIC Technologies, renowned for their expertise in nautical chart creation, Fugro developed the final project deliverables.
